Starting shindawia trimmer

    Hi ,
    Can anyone tell me what the cause is with the T230 brushcutters been hard to start ,not only when cold it takes 5-10 pulls before it fires . The carby been service & tuned . Plug is new and is firing well.

    try new gas check if there is any water in the old gas. The water will pull those small orifices in the carb. Just an idea

    Have you checked the spark arrester?

    Is there a low speed mixture adjustment screw, if so try fattening up the mixture 1/4 turn at a time. Before you adjust turn screw until it seats[lighty] in as you count turns so you can return to original setting.

    Dishboy there is no low speed adustment on this model , As clean fuel I've clean the whole system out including the carb the tank & fuel line been replaced .
