The mower will work fine until warm, then stop all together. It seems to be getting worse.... If I run it without the cover on it, it seems to work longer.

Cleaned out carb/gas filter/air filter & put new plugs in.

Getting gas, no spark. I'm assuming that there is a connection or wire that is loosing connection at some point when it gets hot. Need Help, going Insane!!!

    Hey JDV,
Your problem is the magneto, many times they go bad, but only affect the engine after they get hot as the short spreads when the metal heats up, thus losing the spark. I saw that you tried most things, replace the magneto and you should be up and running.

I had this problem in my FC420V Kawasaki. Sometimes I could cut a whole lawn, other times 2, other times half of one.

I thought I replaced the ignition coil right next to the flywheel but it could have been the magneto like the previous post said.

Whatever it was, it was horseshoe shaped and had a wire that led to the spark plug boot.

Without a fancy "gapper" set the shop told me to use a business card and it works fine ever since.

    Good luck

    Sounds like the coil.
