Hi, I remember you used to be able to see the persons place of origin or state he is from. This would be in the avatar heading. Not that I am nosy, but its nice to see what part of the country he is from. This has a direct and interesting bearing of the subject matter at hand.I like to compare different climates and conditions when deciding which things to use or buy. I really miss this feature. I never trued clicking on the thread name or avatar, but thats just another step.

when someone posts a thread in the marketplace, their location is listed in parentheses after their user name, right below the Title of the thread on the marketplace home page

Hi mike; I am using a smartphone, the Samsung Note 2. Using this, I don't see any location..further, I don't see locations from the guys that chime in..I don't mean to sound like a pain in the @@@, but I remember seeing locations of ALL participants. I'm brand new to smartphones so maybe I don't have it set right but I see no locations...also, every time I open a thread, the resulting screen is always page 4 or 5, it fails to open to page 1. I asked a smartphone guru who told me this has something to do with the website I am visiting (lawnsite)

yes, the mobile version is set up for simplicity and not all features are available but from the regular, desktop version you are able to see locations

and, as far as the thread not opening to page 1, it is most likely because when you click on yve thread it is taking you to the first unread post rather then the beginning of the thread

Any chance to add location to the mobile site. Fewer users on the regular version and when poeple are talking with different area perspectives it sure would be nice to see.

It is actually the number 1 thing in my books that makes mobile version sub par.

I'll see if this is something we can add to the mobile version
