The steering on my Exmark Lazer HP seems to have more play in it than it did some time ago. It is a 2000 model. What can be done to correct this?
    Can some adjustment be made?:blob1:

Is it actual "play" or is it just sloppy dampners? Check the clamp on arm on the hydro pump. Feel for general loosness in the control linkage. Close your eyes and feel with your fingers as you actuate the control levers. While wear cannot be ruled out, usually it can be pinpointed to a specific area that may be loose or out of adjustment.

Sorry to be so vauge, but you need to "LOOK" for yourself to "SEE" what may be worn.

a couple times the [past 6 months the bolts loosened where the sticks attach to the "thingys" down by the seat...both times tightening them fixed the problem
