Sterlin and Cat engines - problems/

    My uncle and bro-inlaw have sterlins. There in the chopping business and some grain hauling. I think they are 02 and 04 models. Both have cat's in them and they are have serious issues.

    They can go down the highway and the truck just losses all power. Other times it just won't start and then it will run all day. It has been in numerous times to the dealer and they have done injectors, turbo and now something new tomorrow.

    Any of guys know anything about these issues.

    my 04 kodiak w/ a c7 just had the turbo replaced at 48k miles... I wasn't a bit happy about that. other than that no problems.

    According to Gravely Rat, these Cat's are the top of the line engines?

    Yep and according to you dodge makes a good truck.:rolleyes:
