seems to me the right side hydro is sticking a little upon release from going forward. Instead of a smooth transition to neutral it seems jerky at the very end and sticks for a split second. it makes it very difficult to keep the tire from sliding and/or get the mower turned right where i want it to be. any fixes for this? greasing the linkage or am I gonna need to take it in? sorry for all the questions trying to learn all I can and not too keen on my local dealer i'd prefer to fix things myself and not deal with them.

    kawakx125,

Unhook the control rod from the pump and test the controls to see if they stick when not hooked to the pump, sometimes the bronze bushings in the control levers can stick and will need to be lubed. Also check that the ball joints all move freely sometimes they can wear a spot into themselves and cause them to hang up when they move.

when i turn the machine off and parking brake off it doesn't stick one bit and everything moves freely. only seems to do it when its running. its weird, i lubed everything up last night and it didn't make much of a difference

    kawakx125,

Try a bottle of Amsoil Slip Lock, it's a limited slip differential additive that Hydro Gear recommends. Usually comes in a 4oz bottle, pour it into the hydro tank and run the mower around for a little bit.
