I've read the searches on trimmer's but have not read anyone that has owned/own both of these machine's compare the two. My dealer carries both but want your opinions. I have a small lawn business and like all of the info I can get when buying any equipment.

    Thanks

stihl has one year comm. warranty but redmax has two year comm. warranty...however, i love my stihl trimmer and am sticking with them for that.

I've got 2 of the 100's. Both have had coils go out in the first year. I really like Stihl, but I've sure had some quality issues as of lately.

I had a stihl 110 that was stolen and replaced it with the redmax 2600 which I now use. I believe you'll be happy with either one.

Of the 2 brands you mentioned, go with the Red Max hands down no questions!

Redmax is the best. Have a BC-2600 that I just use for my home and its like 7-9 years old and still runs like new.
