I have a stihl 110 trimmer which now takes 5-8 pulls to start. I cleaned the plug and regapped no better. Any ideas? Also have an echo handheld blower which seems to take forever to get up to full speed. You start it and you can't get full throttle for a good minute?

The cheapest thing to try is a new plug.

On the echo try feathering the choke off/on to get it to rev up....got to do that with just about all of the echo units old and new. Actually no big deal and the 5 pulls isn't bad....I would have expected the Stihl to start better if it is a unit that has valves?
