To anyone who owns one, what is the emissions compliance period category on the engine?
    Thanks

ther are 3 categories listed for a FS90 4 mix, A=300 hours, B=125 hours & C=50 hours, this is from the owners manual.

Thanks, but that is just the explanation for each category. I wanted to know what the actual rating on the engine is. It has to be either A, B, or C, not all of them.

I believe the 4 Mix is catagory A, I think FS250 is a B. I think A is the longest period of 300 hours. Look at all the cheap trimmers, all cat. C, so C can not be the extended. Confusing.

I might be wong on FS250, I am pretty sure 4Mix are class A. I just remember one of the trimmer with huge motor is a class B, may be is Husqvarna big one, not sure.

If most of the commercials are catagory A or extended duty, I won't choose one with less even it is not directly relates to longivity. I know a lot of RedMax, Husquarna 326, all Echo, Shindaiwas etc. all catagory A or extended duty also.
