We got one of those last year and like it a lot. Prior to this purchase we alway used Echo but this unit has significantly more blowing force.

I have had a BG85 for two seasons. It replaced a BG65, and provides more blowing force (speed ...? volume ...?). Before the BG65, I had a Shin E240(?). The 65 had more power than the Shin, and the 85 is even another step upward.

The BG85 starts and runs fine. I have had zero problems. I work solo, so don't use it as much as others might (about 1,100 lawns per season, and heavy leaf cleanup in the Fall).

I am pleased and would recommend it as a hand blower to anybody.
