I have a Stihl 60 something cc blower, one of the 4mix types. It has never ran good and has never leaned out and ran like it should. I had it back to the shop early on a few times and then just learned to live with it. It's probably 5 years old now. Recently it messed up again and rather than just replace it, I put it in the shop. Stihl actually replaced the short block because they had a bunch go bad. I bought a new carb for it and just about everything else has been replaced. There were 10 other Stihl blowers in for various reasons and the shop says that the Stihl Rep has been coming by regularly trying to see what is going on. It still runs like crap so I'm not putting any more money into. What I want to know is have you experienced the same? and what have you done to make them scream like they should?
