Does anyone know if you can extend the shaft of the pole pruner attachment? I recently used a Stihl 100R trimmer and changed out the trimmer head with the pole pruner attachment. The pruner worked great, but the reach was only about 5'. With the Kombi system, you can purchase an additional shaft to extend the pole. It doesn't look like that would be possible with a regular solid shaft like the 100R. I know they make a longer pole pruner unit, but this is for occasional pruning only. Also, does anyone know if the pole pruner attachment is strong/durable? Seems allot smaller and lighter than a regular chain saw unit.

cant be done also you will void the warranty on the shaft and clutch of that 100 if you use the attchements.

Sorry, I meant the Model was a 110R, which I believe is compatible with the gearbox attachments. I think the 110R has a solid shaft, so this would not void the warranty, I don't think.
