FS80...runs like a champ, fires right up when cold. After using, good and hot, shut it off, you can refire immediately. If you wait 10 minutes, 20 minutes, it wont' fire for anything. At that point you have to wait a hour or so for it to cool completely, then it refires as it should. Any ideas??
This unit is bout 5 years old but in very good condition, (cept as noted above). Thanks for the input.

Ken, have you tried to check the coil for spark? Sounds like a typical bad coil. It's unmercifully hot here and this is a common problem when the temperature goes up, (I've replaced a half-dozen this week in blowers, weedeaters), it's that time of year.

Also check check your spark screen. Pull it out and throw it away.

Ken, just a a quick question, did you put the coil in or did you take it to a shop? I'm just asking cause I'm buying coils for $30 bucks here and I'm always curious what folks are paying for coils.
