Hey lawnman.. I have a BR400 and it's pretty powerful. I haven't tried a 420 yet but I'm looking at replacing the 400 sometime this year. Is there really that much difference? The engine size is the same so I would think they would be comparable.

I cannot tell a major difference in the 400 and the 420. The 420 is loaded up with some EPA junk.

Yes it's worth $400. It's a Stihl and as far as I'm concerned Stihl products are the one to beat!

ive got both the br420c magnum and the br400.

i think that they are about equal-i pulled the catalytic converter of my magnum-that has made a big difference. if i had to do it over again-i would have gotten an echo 750 and not the magnum.

The weather is great. We just had a couple of days of showers with temps in the upper 60's. Today was warm and dry....76 degrees. Forecast for tommorow is sunny and 75. Gotta love the sunshine state!
