DON'T get the 80, get the FS85. The difference is the shaft. The 80 has a flexible shaft that can't use any attachments.

The price difference is usually $20-$30 lower than the FS85.

Get the FS85! You will be happy in the long run, add attachments, and a little more heavy duty!!

I recently bought one of both. I would recomend the 85. The 80 has a little more vibration without the solid shaft. I think I paid $280 for the fs80 and 299 for the 85. Worth the $20 bucks.

Stihl runs an open house at our dealer every year and they run a 10% off promo. May want to ask your dealer.
