What to do quickly to tamp down smell. This pit collects all the stuff washed down from the loading area for resturant. It will have to be dug out by hand, something we have done several times. But the
smell is terrible and they can't open outside dining. wind out of north blows smell to dining area.

No .....5 ft high walls all around and two chamers. We tried building ramp for wheel barrow too steep. In less than 2 days 5 guys will have it dug out and into container. And 3rd day putting in new sand and sod. First bid was $6k...........there are ponds like this all over our city and guys prey over companies that get in bind and have to pay.

Is it considered hazardous waste? Will the landfill except it?

very easy to do . I have done them before. Dropped our u17 mini excavator in with our hitachi 135. Bail the material towards the edge and load into dump trucks with the 135. Cant give you a price unless you know the cubic yards of material to come out.
