stone 4 french drain

    im goin to be doing a french drain. 50 ft long. i guessing 2 feet wide and 20 feet deep. how much stone would be needed?

    to fill it to the top 74 yards.

    If I remember correctly???


    It's about 1500#'s per yard for 3/4 Stone.

    So at 8 yds you are looking at 6T of stone.


    Anyone confirm???

    7&1/2 to 8 yards ...dont know how many tons

    There is about 1 1/4 tons per yard

    You're right...called stone place they told me to figure for 1.5 tons per yard. So at 8 yds you are looking at 12 tons
