I got a call from a customer who wants to have a few of his stone(odd sozed ledge pcs.)steps sured-up. What is the best way to do this? Its stone on top of stone. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Well for what its worth. Its sounds like at the time they were installed the soil behind and underneath them was not compacted or it has poor drainage and is washing out. First I would research and find the cause of the problem and go from there! If it is just from the soil not being compacted then I would remove the stones excavate the soil and replace with chips and dust , then compact compact and compact after that replace the steps and they should be fine.
