Stringers with Gator Blades?

I bought a few sets of Gator's the other week, the ones that have the tips curled up, (I think these are the high-lifts and not the excaliburs if memory serves me right), but I now get stringers all over the place. I was using the normal blades that just came with the mower and they always worked fine.

I run the Toro 21" Proline 2cycle Suzuki mowers.

I signed on to Lawn Site this morning to ask the same question. I am using gators on my 52 Toro, and I also am getting stringers from broad leaf. I have to double cut everything. The factory blades did ok, but I also had to double cut some of those as well. What am I doing wrong? I have freshly sharpened blades on my mower and still I double cut.

Stringers are inevitable for some deck designs when using gator blades. The blade may not be producing enough lift. I had the same problem on a 54" Bunton. So I went back to oem blades.
