I made a 21" striper for behind and inbetween the wheels of my lawn tractor. 2.5" PVC, sand, and some other things, i was thinking about making it adaptable to my 21's though. Ill get some pics if you want to see. It was quite a hackjob. :usflag:

yeah, any pictures would be great. so i can get some ideas. how heavy do you think a roller should be. i was thinking of using 4 inch pvc pipe fillewith concrete.

Why you would care about a striper on a trim mower (21") I don't know. But if you are dead set on making one, instead of using 2.5" PVC and PVC caps that will break at some point, use 2.5" steel fence post and caps instead. It will hold up much better and longer than plastic/pvc.

Mine is probably 20-25 lbs, and stripes decently, could be a little better. Ill get the pics on tom. - a little too tired to resize them all right now, good night.

We use rollers on some of our 21-inch mower's on Chicago stamps, fill them with river rock and BB'S, 25 or 30 lbs is sufficient.

Some pics of the tow-behind striper. My biggest mistake was starting off w/ galvanized pipe- tough to weld!

I use 21" mowers on 80% of my lawns. Never bought a stripe kit for them and they stripe really well. I do tend to keep the front wheels higher than the rear though.
