Hey I was wandering if anyone had or could post some instructions on how to build your own striper for a walk behind commercial lawn mower. If you can that would be great. I'm also curious if anyone has a picture of what a yard looks like cut with a striper made from different materials.

Here you go. A picture, no instructions needed. Just buy yourself a heavy duty rubber truck mudflap and bolt it on so it JUST touches or sits 1/8" above the concrete:

    It doesn't stripe too bad:

You're welcome, and make sure you use a truck mudflap of the heavy rubber variety. They're a lot stiffer and also very durable.

Is there a place to purchase mudflaps cheap. The ones I saw went for about 200-300 dollars

If you have a quarry around they have the belting from the conveys and is a lot heavier then mud flap and cheaper. But both do a great job.

You're nuts. What are they, gold plated?

Find a heavy truck dealership and pick one up for 20-30 bucks.
