Just watching ESPN2 covering some time trials for Indy and noticed the lawn (do this a lot with NASCAR, etc.) and its stripes.

THEY are WAVEY??? Some are straight and perfect, some were even angled and straight, but some around the curves were wavey. Like the mower man was drunk for the first pass, then just followed his wavey stripes.

Looks different. Very intentional I'm sure. Is there a reason?

I was watching espn too, ( heh ) I was watching like the dodgers i think, but i noticed the infield's stripes were curvy ( it was a pattern, it was obvious ). It looked neat, i thought it was cool

cool, but i don't think it would look so hot across a whole yard.

How about the all-star game in CO a few years back. any one remember the star in the center of the field?

Have you seen what they do at Fenway Park in Boston. They striped the two red sox in the infield, WOW that was nice looking.
