striping bremuda with a walker

    i am trying to get more defined stripes in my bremuda. i am mowing with a walker mtghs with the pins on the deck in the 4th hole from the top. should i go higher or lower with the deck to get better stripes?

    Bermuda really won't stripe. You are cutting it at 2" or so bermuda should be cut at 1 1/2" or less. I mow mine at 1" with a walker.

    The lower you cut the grass, the more polished it appears. The higher you cut, the more you will lay the stalks over to display the shiney under color. Vertical cutting in opposite directions will add flair to the lawn also.
    The Walker is designed as a finish mower anyway!!!
