I have always thought that dry grass stripes the best in early spring. I was talking to two seperate LCOs who both said they like 'em best when they are wet. What do ya'll think.

it really doesn't matter when you cut; wet, dry, kinda in between. as long as you bend the grass enough and depending on where the sun is it will stripe. put it like this the more you bend the grass the darker the stripes and you can even do this without cutting.

I hate mowing wet grass in the spring! It is always so deep every week that it takes twice as long as it should. Dry grass cuts so much better. Yeah wet grass might "lay over" better but that cut wont be nearly as good a dry grass.
