I usually edge with a weedwacker... feel I'm more efficient with that.

But if you're curious about the edging on the sidewalk, it hasn't been done yet. That new sidewalk was done about 3 years ago and was ramped for handicap. It sinks a little each year. There's a fair gap between the sidewalk and the turf... just another project.

Additionally, the salt used on this strech in the winter time screws up the turf & soil pretty good.

All in all, not bad for the 2nd cut of the year.

    PS That's a JD LT155 cut.

Looks good, just gotta straighten those stripes a little bit towards the building and youll be all set. A wider deck would look great on that big of a lawn. Looks like you used a 36" or 48" on it. I do a school as well and use my 61" Ferris. Nothing like big lawns where you can really see your work.....

The hardest part if laying the first stripes of the year, especially when you're going to for the diamond cut. :)

Our JD 770 (60 inch) still has the snow blade on... just in case... We'll put the mower deck on in the next week or so.

    Thanks for the compliments!
