Stump The Technician,,,Name That Tool

    Big fish, how about Chicago Pneumatic, one of the first us made air tools. It may even have been a rebadged Skil unit. I am guessing that it had adjustable torque settings. It is called an angle head impact gun.

    I'm thinking that air tool is co-branded..sold under many names...
    Let me check with the Russian Judge on this one...(insert jeopardy music here)

    To the untrained eyes they look like 2 bent pieces of wire...(not the ruler)
    Without them you cant get this specific job done...

    Nope...but it does have to do with something electrical on a 4 stroke engine..

    Those would be for the ol' brush retainer trick for when your assembling yer electrical starter.

    It's not a re-badged Skil unit, as you can see, it is a Skil unit!

    One of the things that made it unique is the air motor/vanes are in the handle.( made for a large air motor) The impact mechanism is in the head driven by a bevel gear setup, easy to get to under the triangular name plate/cap.


    There's another feature......................anybody?
