    Yeah...must be...
All you people that live north of Orlando have that YANKEE accent...

BTW...I could have used a vertcle block and some junk heads to make the jig...
But..the horiz. block stands on its own..and has the bolt holes for the horiz support bracket...

So do you have one for every engine combo? That's a lot of shelf space to take up. I had a couple DC I made custom header mufflers for. Wasn't any harder than fabbing auto or bike headers. Start with the flange then cut, bend, tack, weld.

No...that one block fits all kohler command twin horizontal and verticle mufflers from 18 to 30 hp..

This sounds like a serious enough problem that Kohler should address. An entire engine family with the same inherent problem and it hasn't been fixed. Unless its just way to profitable to sell repop pipes to guys that can't weld.

You got it backwards...muffler breaks are not that common...
Most fail from leaving out the support braket bolts...or when using the muffler for a bumper..
I built a jig that will fix the mufflers on an entire muffler family..

My bad RestroRob....I know you ain't got no accent...

Piston Slapper, here are my guesses

    1-stethoscope to listen for noise
    2-hand impact driver
    3-nylon/plastic faced hammer
    4-adjustable "T" square
    5-spring clamps
