 I am new at using ZTR mowers. I realize stipe kits make the stripes much better using rollers, chains, etc. BUT, when making my zero turn and heading back, should I drive right over the same tire track with my tire, or use the cutting deck as a guide. I own a 52" Bobcat and 60" Lesco (i wouldn't use together). Again dumb question I just see a lot of good mowing jobs and really don't know if I'm doing it right:confused:

Stay in the same tire tracks. Check out this website for some instruction on striping. www.elmlawnsite.com

Thanks Tom- cool striping picts- I guess it also helps to have good, thick, healthy grass. It's so hot in TN we cut a lot of weeds. A smooth-cut lawn looks good as well, but I'd love to srtipe em if I could.

In 6 years of mowing I had never heard of "striping" a yard. The only thing I knew was that a well kept baseball field looks really nice with the patterns. Here in Oklahoma, I can not recall any LCO's using stiping kits on yards...
