I realize this upcoming Wednesday is the 1st of May, but it just seems a bit early for the heat to be like this already. Bring on the sweat fest!

I'm about to drive up to the mountains in a few minutes or so. It's much nicer at the 3000' elevation level. Get out of this hot valley while I can.

Not much fog around here. Mainly just patchy fog in the winter months, but not too bad.

yikes. it's the opposite here in the south. normally it's in the 80s or 90s this time of year but it's been in the 60s. it's like summer is never gonna get here but that would be a nice change of pace. i hate it when it's 100F with 90% humidity outside.

Yea, SE has crazy weather. 70s and 80 for a few days then 60s for a few days with 40s/50s at night:hammerhead:. I would be happy with 80s. 90s just dry everything out. We are getting a good bit of rain:clapping:

Last time I was there was 2007 or 2008. Simply beautiful... It's close to a 3 hour drive from where I'm at though. The spot I normally go to is in the Stanislaus National Forest which is a 1.5 hour drive from home. Later this summer, I really need to take a trip out to Yosemite.

This was taken at Pinecrest Lake today (elevation 5,600 feet). It's my home away from home :)
