PS. light clothing reflects the light where as dark absorbs it. and the high 50-75 SPF sun block contains a ton a chemicles. a 35-45 SPF is thwe best you can use without having a ton of harmful stuff on your skin

light clothes and a straw type wide brimmed hat. Ears, back of neck, and face are the top 3 surfaces to protect from the sun as much as possible.

Some tell me that they are COOLER in long sleeved lightweight shirts since it keeps the sun off of the skin. I have yet to try though.. I still break down to shorts and white fruit of the loom t-shirts in the summer heat. (cause they are cheap and thin!)

spf 50 to 75 sunblock??? iv'e never seen higher than 45! What are those just paint???

I used to be a Coppertone girl.......the best sunblock out there is Coppertone Sport. It will not run into the eyes, it doesn't sweat off, and it isn't greasy. I definitely swear by it. Don't forget the ears and lips.

There is no need for any protection over SPF 45. Anything above is completely useless. When I was in the business 15 years ago, it was always noted anything over 15 was useless, but it is a much harder sell now.
