ive got about 60hrs on my new 27 kohler 60" super. i blew a fuse ( the 10 amp that controls the starter) somehow sunday. i also blew another today. its not blowing them every time the mower is started, it just seems to be random. i havent contacted the dealer yet as i cant be without it, have there been any related problems like this? so far the only complaints i have are this and the black susp. seat. other than that i love this machine.

I have not heard of this problem, the Kohler 27 is a fairly new engine option for us.
Please let your dealer know ASAP so he can get it taken care of for you.
I will forward this info on to our service department.

I am told by our service department that they have seen less than 10 of these instances, and they have taken care of the situation by installing a 15 amp fuse.
It appears that the Kohler starter is drawing more amperage than the Kawasaki, we were used to using.
If anyone has this problem please contact your dealer and let them install the correct fuse.

    Thank you
