Hey everyone. Question. On the larger pondless features we do, we will normally build a catch basin. Basically a pit with a great over it. They will hold 500 gallons +. We do almost all liner features BTW. While at a customers recently I saw a concrete pondless feature that moved around 450 gpm. It used drains that connected to a surge tank. Unfortunately wasn't there long enough or able to really "tear" into the design but thought it was worth some review. I'm tempted to try this on a feature. Anyone use this method? I've never seen a drain that will allow for that kinda water flow. His were hidden under a large flat boulder and couldn't see what was used. Any ideas?
