    I have a fully assembled 36" gear driven Exmark (model# 36-12B-5 serial# 22327). I also have a fully dis-assembled 32" gear driven Exmark (model# 32-12B-5 serial# 23878). Both units I recently bought used. I also recently bought a 2002 36" TTHP. I was thinking that I might need a 32" to get through some gates that the new 36" won't be able to.

My question is can I take the 32" deck and put it on the 36" frame. I did some rough measuring and it looks like it will mount right up. I am not sure if the wheel base will be too long or even for sure if it WILL mount to the other frame.

Also, can you tell me the year these 2 unit were produced?

    Thanks a million

    walker-talker,

Sorry it took so long to respond. You can put the 32" deck on the 36" engine deck. The key to making this work is using the 32" axle and wheels. The 36" lower assy. will stick out past the deck.

These unit were built in the mid to late 80's. I'm out of the office at this time, but when I get back in I can give you the exact date they were built.

    Thanks, Fred.
