Anyone know of a swimming pool build/maintaince forum?
only poolforum.com, what kind of questions do you have, I do maint. and construction for swimming pools.
chuck, I have a inground pool at my house, its around 25yrs old, and all
the concrete sidewalks on the skimmer side sank and cracked from a broken water line. I was thinking of removing all the old concrete and taking a stab at using pavers for the first time...my problem is, i dont know what to do for the handrail mounts that are recessed in the concrete and the 6 little diving board studs that stick up. What do you usually do?
They need cement footers, the diving board footer should be about 4' wide 8 feet long and 6-8 inches thick, i also dig down and give the pad additional footers, this has to be set at a grade low enuff so the pavers can ride over the cement.
There is also this board, not sure if you can find anything useful off of it for your problem though.
sounds good..... thanks alot for the help.
I would like to see input on the hard scape elements of pool construction.
my company has a whole division of pool maintenance/repair.
what are you wanting to know??
