swivel rebuild

    Success--I think--I rebuilt my leaking stainless steel reel swivel. I unscrewed the grease zerk and using a small magnet popped out 17 ball bearings, (or maybe there were more and I lost one or two). Then swivel pops apart and I replaced the worn o-rings.

    Thanks for posting this info! I have not rebuilt mine yet , but now I know how! Would have not figured that one out.....Grease Zerk..Wow.

    You are correct riggle. There is 17 ball bearings. Remember to grease the o-rings before putting it back together.
