Hey guys, I was just browsing around ebay and found some Shindaiwa T 270 that look like they are in good shape. I'm not really interested but I know there are tons of people on LS that love 'em, so I just figured that I would let you know.:)

I never bought anything on ebay but if you get those trimmers home and they don't run like they claim am I SOL? They would make good parts assuming they run.

You have to be real careful, I bought one off of EBAY where the guy doctored it up to look new and did not state that in the add. I payed real money for it and when it was all over I have 400$ in it and it still does not run. My worst EBAY deal yett! I mean this guy put a new fuel tank, stickers and paint on it so in the picture it looked new. A REAL CROOK!!!!!!!! so be careful.

Ya, I know Ebay is dangerous. I think that more often than not, people are pretty honest though. I bought a mower and I ended up having to replace the tires, the machine was filthy, about a month after we bought it the engine blew out and it was two years older than the seller had said it was(among other problems as well) .
