I am getting a quote ready for yard and I will need to remove all the bermuda sod first before installing new zoysia sod. What do you guys charge for removal of existing sod using a sod cutter? Per foot, per hour, per job?

    Thanks,

You may already know this, but regardless of how you decide to charge, make sure you set your sodcutter deep enough to remove the underground rhizomes of the Bermuda, or you will have a very unhappy customer next year. Some of these can be more than an inch deep in some soil conditions. I would take a spade and dig a few squares up til I thought I had the correct depth figured out.
