Does anyone on here use this blower? ANything good or bad about them??????
No dealers left in my area means no parts and/or service support.
Stick with the major brands for service and parts support.
Any one else?
Is that the one with the big airbox on top?
Yes it is. Around 60cc Kawasaki engine. 2 year commercial warranty. If you have a dealer in the area go for it.
The 7800 is the latest. Its a 65cc engine in that one. Dunno what all is different.
Well, ONCE I saw a Tanaka trimmer, just one hanging off to the side at one of the Stihl dealers I use. But that was 3-4 years ago. Don't know if they were a dealer or still are. But anyways, I have seen the Maruyama version of the 7600 (liked what I saw) and one of my subs has some of them still (no Maruyama dealer anymore either).
Anyways, I have seen the Kawasaki version of the 7800. Looks good, but does not have that big air box up top like the other ones.
Anywhooo... seems like I got an e-mail from Tanaka for a great price on the 7600.
But that's been a while...
The deal is still on........I talked to Mark this week and there are about 20 left
Yah, the 7800 uses more standard air filters and is a little bigger.
Not sure who made the 7600 unit...Tanaka or Maryuma(sp?). I am sure they are slight differences between the 2 anyway.
I actually have a couple of 7600's left here...Alot of my customers prefer the handhelds for some odd reason...
Me neither... but the Maruyama 6900 looks just like it other than color.
The claim 200mph and 600 CFM (probably 'actual' with pipes) though.
On a side note, for most stuff I like the handhelds better too.
The old Stihl BG85's are my favorites, and next would be Echo 230 or 210.
Just simplier for the small 'every-stop' blowing chores.
I have one. It's a good blower, very smooth engine. Not as much power as my Shin 630 but that's to be expected with the engine size. It feels much lighter tho! I think it's about 2 pounds lighter.
