    Hello all-
I just found out I have a Tanaka dealer really close to me, and I've heard good things about them. I am looking to get a new trimmer and a new blower.

    Trimmer- TBC-255PF or TBC-260PF

    Blower- TBL-7800R

Tell me good and bad about these models!

    Thanks!

I love my Tanaka 2501 trimmers but the 7800R blower is not as easy to start as the Stihl it always takes 4-5 hard pulls as my Br600 is a 1 pull

I just bought the Tanaka 255 trimmer a few weeks ago. Absolutely the best trimmer I've ever owned!

I used to sell Tanaka "in the old days". Most consumers had never heard of them, so it didn't go well.

Good equipment, if a little pricey.

Tanaka is cheaper than most other brands (from my experience) and runs WAY better. I paid 300 for the PF 255 trimmer and the 230s are often found for $200. And STILL way better than more expensive trimmers.

What kind of head is on the trimmers? Is it similiar to the Shindy speed feed?
