tecumseh motor is not running well

    hallo ,
    when i start my tecumseh VLV60 he runs not good .when i open the gas he speeds up and slows down, the valve above the carburator goes open and close by a piece that comes out of the motor .when i let the blade turning of my sit on mower then he is running better ?
    what can be the problem????*trucewhiteflag*

    it needs a carb cleaning.

    hello,i already clean the carburator ,there seemss nothing wrong.

    You may need to adjust the carburetor.

    i have a repair manual but there is nothing in for adjust the carburetor.

    The carburetor may need to be rebuilt its hard to tell from the description of the problem given. Hopefully some one more knowledgeable on here will be able to help you diagnose your problem.

    if it has the plastic carb, there's an o-ring that hides behind the main jet in the bottom. you need a flashlight and a pick to get it out.

    they seem to swell shut after sitting awhile with fuel in them. clean the main jet, change the o-ring and clean the small idle jet next to the main nozzle well and it should be good to go.

    is it the o ring which is on the sprayer which is in the plastic bulb under the carberator ,i already clean this bulb and dismantled the sprayer ,the o ring is maybe getting larger by the feul?????
