Question, anyone ever see telescoping sprays? I saw an ad for one that retracted fully, then had an 18" rise on the piston, in a 12" body. seems interesting, but i'm a little wary. i can't remember, but it wasn't one of the big 3 manufacturers. i'd like to see it in action, but i'm guessing it's just another spot for the head to leak at.

I'm just so tired of moving/ upgrading and adding extensions.

I had this idea a few years ago. HIT (Add S before name for what they really are) is advertising them now.

I wish I had patented it first.

Rainbird thought of it almost thirty years ago. They had a four inch popup in a standard-sized body. Of course, back then, a 2-inch popup was considered a 'hi-pop'

yeah, i was figuring they were crap. a great idea though.
i'm still trying to think of an irrigation idea i can make a million dollars off. my latest is to use my rotozip and all the left over PGP nozzles i have and design a nozzle that works like a rain curtain, but in a PGP. Then sell it back to Dick Hunter as "the ultimate rotor".

My killer idea was rolls of subsurface drip you lay down like you would a mesh.

Then you throw sod on top and your done.

Heck... If it gets too many leaks in it just throw down a new irrigation mat on top of the existing turf and then lay new sod on top of it.

Rainbird still makes 2" and 3" 1800's as well.
