I didnt mess with the link but if you want a TON of high quality letters and PRICELESS information, buy Sean Adams lawn care business start up package. You can find it on lawnsite. Its about $70 and by far the best money I have spent on my business! This is not a sales pitch. I purchased the product and LOVE IT! dozens of client letters estimating templates and professional insight.

Kirk, I love the idea of a newsletter. I really need to make the time to set one up.

I think the coupons people will like. but the newsletter looks a little short on info, and it looks kind of canned. I bet people would like more stuff written by you.

I really like the Christmas card.

I did not read all of them, but I think my advice would be to put some more practical lawn info in them, and write it yourself.

The newsletter pretty much looks like its all about you and getting traffic to you.

But literally starved of information for them.

A good newsletter would probably include no less than a 500 word article or landscape tip.

Overall though, the appearance is nice and clean looking. Now all you need to do is putting forth effort to write content for it. The old "content is King" tip was not limited to websites alone. It's true of books, brochures, emails and more.

Maybe you didn't see my actual newsletters? The ones that are the newsletters say so in the subject line. Here is a link directly to one of my past newsletters: http://us1.campaign-archive.com/?u=5c438d1e781058da1791c82ea&id=2cc856199f

I think it is more about lawn care tips than about my business. I have had positive feedback so far!

How's the gift certificate thing worked out?

Did you think about writing suggestions next to the gift certificate for all the reasons it would be a good gift?

    You mentioned dads.

    Father's day present.
Gift to someone traveling, who won't be home.
