Wow. Never thought that on a Sunday at this hour that a cup race would still be on.

Are you still watching Nascar? I gave it up when they dropped Winston Cigs. Too commercialized nowdays. I hate the driver intros where they walk out on a platform and wave to the crowd. I miss the days of non-restrictor plate races, Richard Petty, and Darlington.

Oh Stan, that was so long ago. I did hate to see Winston leave, not to mention Busch and now Craftsman.

A lot like going to the amusement park and watching the merry-go-round, except you don't get to see any pretty girls until the very end.

I could handle the tailgating outside, but once inside I'd be bored out of my mind.

I have three friends that raced hill climb - Pkies Peak, Buena Vista, and others around the state (one tragically died racing motorcycle track). This is even more boring that track/Nascar. You line up on some section of the dirt road, and your buddy comes zooming by........... and then that's all you see of him. One time. unless you get near some of the switch backs.

Three local sprinkler guys also raced it for years. Father and two sons.
