My lawn has Poa annua (annual bluegrass) and nimblewill, so I am planning to use Tenacity this spring as the only herbicide. Central Midwest, bluegrass in sunny areas and fescue mixed in shady, 4 acres in all. Test area with 2 apps Tenacity last summer worked well, no one bothered by appearance of white tips. This year I didn't put any 2,4-D or other herbicide on, plan to mow down to 2.5 inches from 3.25 over a couple weeks, apply Tenacity every 10 days for 3 apps (4 oz/acre total), and overseed at the same time.

Am I crazy to try this? Have only heard of it for football fields. (I'll post pics of the aftermath, good or bad)
