TerraSorb Seed Gel

    Anyone used the above mentioned product before? This product is supposed to be a polymer substance with a sticker added to it - designed to absorb water and release when the seed starts to dry out.

    Haven't used Terrasorb in seeding, but have used similar for back fills in planting. Reduces transplant shock and helps to cover for homeowner watering errors.

    We've used it, and we also use the product they have for planting trees and shrubs. For seeding projects it adds quite abit to the material costs.

    However, it works, and their claims are accurate - from our experience.

    Is there a place to buy terra-sorb in bulk? The only place I have ever seen it was in Gardener's Supply in 1 lb (i think) buckets.. about 1 quart of product.. Please let me know, I would love to have this product as a cost effective means to help on transplant shock...
