    The liriope would look better if last years growth would have been pruned out ... other than that looks okay

    I think that's "Monkey Grass" for those of us south of the Mason-Dixon:) You can see last year's growth at the bottom and I don't think its too late to trim them...

    wayyyyyyy too late to trim them back now, unless you just cut back last years, dont mess with the new growth, wont look right for the rest of the year.

    Too late in Texas? Heck no, cut that dead stuff off pronto. Will look better instantly, and will not harm future growth what-so-ever.

    P.S. Is that grape mahonia I see under the tree on the right? Looks like it, looks nice.
