Texas and SALES TAX

    Any Texas guys - I heard that "lawn mowing" is now a (sales) taxable service!!!

    Aaaarrrgghh!!!

    Anyone know for sure? (Yes, I know about calling comptroller, just wanted ask you guys)

    Hey A1, I'm also in San Antonio and from what I've heard, sales tax does apply to us. I'm still trying to figure out the details about it all, so when I do, i'll let you know. If you find out first, contact me to let me know.

    You guys are right, it is a taxable service. The hard part is that you are supposed to pay the tax rate at the property, not your home base. I mow in 2 different counties and 3 different cities so the paperwork is a pain. You also have to pay at different times depending on your estimated yearly income. Why can't they make these things easy?!!!!!
