If any of you have pondered holiday light sales the Holidynamics workshop is in Houston on July 25th. I can get you in for free for the one day event. If you go to the Friday part it was $150 for early registration but it may have gone up a little. Holiday lighting is really a no brainer if your if your in the landscape trade. You will make more per man hour then you can with any other service you provide. It's a great way to create November thru mid December work and then two weeks of January work. With our drought issues this will be one part of the year you can always count on having work if the watering restrictions get ugly.

I am not interested in Holiday light sales myself. I have way too many other things going on to add one more.

I started doing the holiday stuff in 2009 but probably way back around 2002 someone called me asking if I do the lights and I said no without giving it a thought. I wish I had gotten into it sooner. I ended up getting into landscape lighting because a customer asked for it and I liked the challenge it presented.

If any of you Austin area guys are looking for help a guy with foremen experience in landscape maintenance, irrigation, and holiday lighting just called me looking for work. He is moving up here with his family from Houston. I'd give the guy a shot but I already have a foremen and I run only one crew.

It's one of those deals where when your in a bind and need help you can't find it but when you don't need help it comes knocking. If you need a guy PM me.

More good rain on Weds. That is 3 days in a row in the middle of summer.
The best part is the last two days have been afternoon showers so little disruption of service.
