I came home tonight after a long day of power raking and aerating only to find that my lawn was done. Power raked, aerated and fertilized! I grabbed the mail and there was a bill stuck in the box for some one else. He didn't do a very good job on the aerating (soil was to dry, but he did it any ways) and he only did half the yard. But the power raking was done well and now I only have to get around to half the yard. Nice professional billing too, eh.

Well I called him and said thanks. He's a good humored person too, cause he laughed and said happy birthday.

I am surprised he didn't try to get you to pay for it

That wasn't free. Its my new marketing plan. You never run out of jobs or customers...just drive through the neighborhood looking for a lawn which needs maintenance, stop, do the work, and put a bill in the mailbox. I should have started this years ago!

If you really wanted to have fun you could call and tell them how many things they did wrong (including how the US mail service doesn't allow people putting items in mail boxes unless it is stamped and goes through a postal facility.

That's a classic. Especially the fancy invoice stationary.
