I've been using my Encore thatcher with the solid teeth for 6 years now, and every time i do the spring cleanups, I notice it rips out alittle too much. I know what I'm doing and never go too deep, but with the solid teeth, you really don't have much "cushion". The good thing though, there are still the original teeth and I'm not yet at my lowest setting! My brother in law, (larger company), stop thatching this year and started arerating. What have you found to be the most efficient?
